Last year’s collaboration with the Cleveland Composers Guild- with the second largest audience of any concert in our history- was such a success that both organizations enthusiastically agreed to join together again as soon as possible! Cleveland’s top composers and performers unite to create spectacular new works for guitar, both solo and in interesting combinations with other instruments. New to this year's collaboration: local artists will have their work on display, and it will be available for sale at the reception following the concert. Join us as composers, performers, and artists unite in a celebration of the compelling power of new music and art!
This concert features guitarists Stephen Aron, George Bachmann, James Marron, Robert Sharpe, and Gideon Whitehead; flutist Jane Berkner; soprano Lauren Feola; and violinist Natalie Lin. Composers include: Monica Houghton, Jeffrey Quick, Ryan Ramer, Robert Rollin, and Stephen Stanziano. There will also be artwork on display by local artists Gretchen Goss, Gwen Goss, Mark Hartung, and GuangSheng Wang.
